The German tuning-studio “TehArt“ creates for Porsche cars the  unique, stunningly beautiful design, which concerns not only the appearance, but also the technical equipment. Masters from the city of Leonberg, like experienced  jugglers in a circus, are able to surprise deeply and empress to the bones even the most discerning and captious visitors and  dealers.

The most famous “TechArt” product is the SUV  Magnum, which served as the prototype for creating Porsche Cayenne. This car became the most successful and became the bestseller among all models of the company within its entire history  that counts  more then twenty years. The differences are evident at the first glance at the car. The front part has become more aggressive due to the installation of a broad front spoiler, fog lights, equipped with additional air intakes and expansion. Plus, on the hood there is an additional “nostrils” that help to ventilate the engine compartment.Due to  this, the weight of the hood has been significantly reduced. The rear part also undergone some changes in the form of larger spoiler, new headlights and bumper with a diffuser.
Also at  Porsche Magnum the size of wheel arches has been quite substantially increased .

Is not difficult to guess that the main emphasis is on the use of the carbon, because not only the carrying monocoque is made of the composite, but the entire body as well, including the impressive anti-wing. With the use of carbon they have finished the center console and interior door panels.

But the most significant changes are bound with technical equipment of Porsche Magnum.The engine capacity has been increased and its fuel injection system has been completely redesigned. The capacity increased from 520 to 600 horsepower. Changes also touched the suspension, which was returned by the installation of the system Dynamic Chassis Control (SDCC). So, now  the car has got dynamically changeable hardness of the stabilizers of stability. This helps to avoid unnecessary roll, and, consequently, car calmly overcomes steep turns. You can vary the ride height from minus 30mm. to plus 80mm. to the basic rate. At Magnum brand disks have been  installed (the size is 20 inches,“TehArt“ Formula2), with tires that maintain speed without problems. Speed that can be achieved is over  300 km / h.

Special attention was given to salon of “TechArt“ Magnum, which was not just a luxury, and elegant one. The decoration was used leather that is luxury treated in their own “TehArt“ studio, and which are upholstered seats, ceiling, doors and dashboard. Inside of a car has   lots of inserts of a natural mahogany. Established ultramodern multimedia system with monitors is built in  headrests of seats.
This car is amazing, powerful and, certainly,expensive. Its price is greater than a quarter of a million dollars. But, look at the pictures.

In Germany, the most affordable diesel BMW versions are available for only 24 thousand euro. Give that amount to the dealers and you’ll get a 3-door hatchback with a 2-liter engine with a 116 hp capacity and 260 N • m torque. However, the only indicator that is truly impressive is the fuel consumption: 4,4 l per 100 km in mixed cycle. Speed, dynamics and so on… well, it is better not to talk about them, just not to become too upset. But the tuners from Hartge Bureau has a special opinion on the budget hatchback.

Give them BMW 116d for a few days, and your turbodiesel 4-cylinder 2.0 will receive a new management and a sports air filter. These simple additions enough to lift the engine to 143 horsepower and 315 newton-meters. And moreover, this latest result could be achieved at 2000 rpm. Similar figures has the factory version of BMW 118d - 143 hp and 300 N • m.

But do not get involved in the constant comparison with a standard BMW 118d. Indeed, it has no sports suspension with shortened springs, which reduce the ground clearance by 25 mm or Hartge exhaust system with two caps and configured «voice». However, tuners have not announced a price yet, and we doubt that the package of improvements will be less than 2000 Euro. This is the difference between the prices on the BMW 116d and BMW 118d. So, the potential buyers will still have something to think about.

The New Golf GTI with 2.0L engine is good for everything except one thing - the price. But the German concern have special midget engines, which are capable of being a good and rather cheap foundation for more accessible «charged» Golf versions. Swiss atelier Sportec went exactly by that way, producing a relatively more affordable than GTI Golf 1.4 TSI.
 
The heart of the project is the finalizing of a 160hp-strong 1.4 TSI engine with 240 N • m torque. Swiss added the fresh software to the engine and replaced the basic factory version of an air filter with a sports one. Now indiscreet «turbofour» gives the whole 200 hp and 300 N • m, and the Golf GTI  gives  210 horsepower and 280 newton-meters. Sportec SC 200 hatchback with mechanic gearbox accelerates to one hundred kilometers per hour in incredible 6,8 seconds - on one-tenth faster than the Golf GTI.
 
3-door Sportec SC 200 accelerates to 180 km / h from the place in 3.2 seconds faster in comparison with 160 hp - strong Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI.

Engine modification program is suitable for versions with six-gear mechanical gearbox, as well as for modifications with the DSG automatic transmission.

And to let your «almost GTI» to be good in other disciplines, tuners advise to put sports springs that reduce the clearance by 25 mm and a mechanical differential lock. But the most important is the price! In Germany, Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI Highline cost 23 700 euro. For 640 euro tuners will finalize the engine, and just for about one and a half thousand euros they will put differential lock and new springs. It is much cheaper than to pay 26 650 euro per ordinary Golf GTI.

At last tuners decided not to follow the traditional ways of expensive tuning and to make really affordable and decent tuning to let you save your money.

What does this number mean - 426? This is the mark of the Chrysler’s Hemi version flagship engine with 426 cubic cm capacity, or seven liters. Such engine threateningly roared in the body of the legendary muscle-car Plymouth Barracuda.

Time did not spare the Plymouth brand, and serial Chrysler cars do not have a Hemi engine of such capacity. But there are no desperate situations, right? There is no less muscular coupe Dodge Challenger, which, incidentally, can be turned into Cudu. And clever engineers from the Mr. Norm’s Garage atelier did that. In the end, they work with Chrysler group vehicles since the mid of the last century.

Tuners took as a basis SRT8 modification with a 425-strong engine Hemi 6.1, which increased the working capacity up to seven liters, changed management program and, more importantly, set the drive supercharger Kenne Bell. Thanks to the latter addition to the characteristics of the improved engine, yet another trio of cheerful numbers was added - 750 horsepower.

For $ 4000 Mr. Norm’s car tuning atelier engineers will install for you a front sport suspension of their own design and also will improve the cardan shaft and equip rear axle with a lock.

Finalizing of the exterior was not easier. There are no convertible versions of Challenger, so the masters from Mr. Norm’s Garage Bureau have cut the roof by themselves, bringing along the front and back exterior of the car according to Hemi Cuda convertible image of the third generation.

It turned out quite gorgeous, but unfortunately, quite expensive as well. For example, installation of the Hemi engine will cost for a potential driver at least $ 7000, for regulating the sport suspension $ 2800 is requested, and and rear panel a la Hemi Cuda will cost $ 1500. So, even taking into consideration the awesome tuning of the car, it is unclear, if it will be requested by a decent amount of people.

Apparently, companies, who specialize in the tuning of Audi cars, are a plenty. Otherwise how to explain that a family of «charged» universals and sedans Audi S4 of the new generation debuted back in September so far has no one who has dared to improve them? But not until now: a few days ago this model came to the hands of MTM atelier.

Specialists of the studio rushed forward in the fine-tuning of this cars immediately. An initial package of improvements even now raises the power of a compressor 3.0 TFSI V6 engine with 333 horsepower and 440 N • m to 430hp and 515 newton-meters. Achieving such an impressive result did not require bone-braking work - the tuners only installed new M-Cantronic engine management system and new exhaust system. Dynamic characteristics, of course, have changed greatly. For example, the acceleration to one hundred felt down by a four-tenths seconds (4,7 s).

Luxurious 19-inch wheels Bimoto (4035 Euro) conceal powerful braking mechanisms (4182 Euro) with eight-piston supports and 380-mm discs at the front axle.

New suspension (700 euro) is adjusted in the range of 10-40 mm in front and 15-45 mm in the rear. But for a more sophisticated exhaust system the price is several times more - 2645 Euro.

But engineers from Vetshtetten do not calm down. To smooth the effects of speed intoxication a modified braking system with eight-piston supports was designed. The kit also includes adjustable suspension of their own design. Of course, the efforts of MTM studio are not free. For all the job done the price is almost 15 thousand euros, of which 3075 Euro is for the «pumping» of the engine.

The first diesel vehicle in the history of Porsche - SUV Cayenne - has not yet been awarded with the full attention of the tuning-offices. Yes, there was a slight false weight and new program management of V6 3.0 TDI engine (240 hp, 550 N • m), but only now finalization on all the fronts have merged together. Praise and honor Techart atelier!

  In the basic variant SUV is equipped with light alloy rims and Michelin Diamaris 4 × 4 tires with the dimension 295/35 R21. As an option - rollers with Continental rubber and a dimension 295/30 R22.

Without any doubt engineers from Leonberg are perfectly familiar with the SUVs from Stuttgart. They began with the engine: installed new software and a sports air filter, which helped to add to the diesel V6 290 and 630 N • m accordingly. If the basic model reaches 100 km / h in 8.3 seconds,  the version of the Techart Bureau do this for 7.7 sec. Thus diesel consumption has not changed - 9.3 liters per 100 km in the combined cycle.

When finished with the motor, the Germans moved to the air suspension. Management module has received a new program - it helped to reduce clearance by 90 mm. Then there was the exterior part. Car was given a full corporate false weight, in the arches 21-inch discs of original design have appeared, a lounge was decorated with better leather, the linings of aluminum and fuzzy rugs.
 
If you refuse to refine the engine, you can save 3000 euros.

Work carried out is large-scaled and the price has also been set according to this work. For example, if you are ready to order a car with a full set of improvements, you will have to pay more than 85 thousand euro. For comparison, in Germany for a standard diesel Cayenne you’ll have to pay 56 959 euro.

Further development of a powerful car has one undeniable advantage. You can significantly simplify the task, just forgot about the engine and focused all attention on the chassis or on the exterior. American firm IND went just by this way, prepared a magnificent project for the BMW M3 coupe with a variety of components from third-party companies.

Tuners quite reasonably thought that the 420-strong V8 4.0 engine was doing just well with its responsibilities of teleportation of the car from one place to another. Therefore, IND engineers only slightly improved the engine of this BMW just by installing Eisenmann exhaust system. Factory suspension and brakes were replaced by the Americans too: with a set of KW Clubsport and Brembo mechanisms accordingly.

At the beautiful light alloy HRE rims strained Nitto NT05 tires with the dimension 275/35 R18 have been put. Just behind the rollers 365-millimeter brake discs in front and 345-millimeter in the rear were installed.

Outwardly, the offspring of IND office - BMW M3 - has also gone from the image of the standard M3. Front spoiler, rear diffuser and the lining on the lid of the Vorsteiner Company creates a new car image, HRE wheels and matte black back optics of its own design just add some specific charm to it. But how much the future owner will have to pay for this beauty is still kept in a secret.

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series compact car, developed by BMW’s branch BMW M. M3 models have been derived from the E30, E36, E46 and E90/E92/E93 3-series, and sold with coupe, sedan and convertible body styles. Common upgrades over the “standard” 3-Series automobiles include more powerful and responsive engines, improved handling/suspension, more aggressive aerodynamics/body, and multiple interior/exterior accents with the “M”/Motorsport nomenclature.

The testing mule of an upcoming Ferrari F450, whose debut is expected this fall, is running crazy down the tracks and roads of general use in the last stages of refinement. Ferrari Company and well-known tuners altogether have already said goodbye to the predecessor F430. Sleep well, darling? But no. A specialist from a Japanese studio ASI has shown the desire to improve this beauty, going to the rest.

Japanese tuners decided not to engage into costly and complicated tuning. To get started, they’ve installed new bumpers and sills, with a lower weight at 27 kg against the standard. Suspension has also been changed and it was assembled from the Sachs components. Finally tuners slightly reprogrammed the «brain» of a V8 4.3L engine (490 horsepower, 465 N • m), improving its traction at medium speed.

You can not order a full body kit, but only its individual elements. For example, for front and rear bumpers, as well as for the sills you will have to pay five, six and four thousand dollars accordingly.

Surprisingly, but for the such non-traditional (without an increase in power) chip-tuning Japanese have demanded $ 7500. Too much. But $ 15 000 for a complete body false weight and $ 13 000 for the sports suspension Sachs did not appear like throwing the money to the wind.

Mentioning the basic version of an engine. 4.3L V8 petrol engine derived from a shared Ferrari/Maserati design. This new power plant is a significant departure for the F430 line: the engines of all previous V8 Ferraris were descendants of the Dino racing program of the 1950s. This fifty year development cycle comes to an end with the entirely new 4.3L, the architecture of which is expected to replace the Dino-derived V12 in most other Ferrari cars. The engine’s output specifications are: 490ps (483hp) at 8500 RPM and 465 N•m (343 lb•ft) of torque at 5250 RPM. The F430 will reach a top speed of 196 mph (315 km/h).

Tuners have not yet tested well the new generation of a BMW Z4 roadster, the car just came in the dealer showrooms. But some people are already willing to offer their versions of revisions. The first to come are specialists from studio G-Power, well known for their love for the Bavarian cars.

At first, they offer a package of improvements for version sDrive35i with three-liter biturboengine. Chanted over the electronic brains, tuners raised output by 39 hp - Up to 345 and torque to 80 N • m - up to 480. As a result of that acceleration to hundred is to be reduced for half a second - up to 4.7. For such a fun you will have to pay 2381 Euro.

For 4474 Euro standard wheels in the studio G-Power will be replaced by the brand-new G-Power wheels, dressed in sporting Michelin Pilot Sport tires with a dimension 255/30 R20 in front and 295/25 R20 in rear.

Additional 1256 Euro a client can pay for harder springs and dampers, and additional 1508 euros - for a new exhaust system. This is everything they are ready to provide now. Other major revisions G-Power studio will propose later in the same way, as the revision of more weaker and available versions of Z4.

The BMW Z4 is a rear-wheel drive sports car by the German automaker BMW. Replacing the Z3, first-generation production started in 2002 at BMW’s Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, with both roadster and coupe forms produced. When debuted, it won Automobile’s Magazine “Design of the Year Award”. Starting with the 2009 model year, the second-generation Z4 is built at BMW’s Regensburg, Germany plant as a retractable hardtop roadster.

Quiet, with the image of a “car for someone older than 65” Volvo  is a rare guest in the tuning-studios. In particular, wagon, and moreover, diesel version. But among the customers of Swedish cars, there are strangely enough people who need only charged Diesel Volvo. And because of that there are companies willing to offer it.

Example - the German firm Lexmaul. It is ready to add  for a humorous thousand euro some hp to a Volvo V70 in a rather weak turbodiesel version. Through re-installing electronic brain to two-liter motor’s output will be raised by 30 hp (to 166hp) and torque to 70 N • m (before 390).

Approximately the same amount could be spent for fine-tuning of the suspension. Tuners will put shortened springs and lower the car for 30 mm. At this program tuning ends. Apparently, the Germans believe that for the owner of the diesel V70 it is more than enough.

How much the dynamics was changed, is not reported. But note that the standard V70 modification with 2L diesel engine is not too fast. It speeds up to one hundred for 11,4 s, and develops 195 km / h.

The Volvo V70 is a mid-size five-door station wagon / estate manufactured by Volvo Cars since 1996 — and closely related to the S70, S60 and S80 saloons as well as the four-wheel drive Cross Country (XC) and XC70.

Since its inception, the V70 has evolved through three generations — notably, the second generation designed by Peter Horbury.

Over 80% of V70s are sold in Europe, one third in Sweden. The Volvo V70 has been the best selling car in Sweden for many years.

But of course, it is rather surprising, that tuners start to look on such unusual vehicles and propose tuning for them.
