Expensive And Powerful


Not so long ago in one of the races of BTCC racing championship Lancer Evolution X debuted, which was built by engineers from Mitsubishi Motors UK office with the support of ADR Motorsport. Some time afterwards, the first news appeared, that Mitsubishi will produce serial 400-strong version of a sports car, which will be a special FQ-400 modification of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X model on the market of England. So far, the most powerful «FQ» in the line is FQ-360, which as the name suggests, develops 360 hp.

be forced, its managing unit will receive the new settings, the standard exhaust system will be replaced by more effective. Total power of LanEvo X FQ-400 will be increased to 405 hp, although that number is not yet final. The torque will be 542 Nm. Motor will be offered with 5-speed gearbox only, because it is not known exactly how SST transmission will cope with the with double clutch high performance unit.


Expected that the acceleration to 100 km / h will be possible for 3.5 s (for comparison, FQ-360 is gaining speed 100 km / h in 4,1 s). The car will receive a new body kit with additional ventilation holes, including a large air intake on the bonnet and the slots for cooling the rear brakes. By the way, the braking system will also receive improvements: front, for example, 6-piston
supports. Well, and the car will receive new rims – 18 inch size.

 According to forecasts, this model will be released in limited series of 100 copies and will become the most expensive modification of Lancer Evolution X - starting price will be about 45 000 pounds ($ 66 865), it means, 14 500 pounds higher than the predecessor.

Mercedes SLK 55 AMG tuning from the Väth studio


German Väth studio autotuners continue to please fans of the new modified Mercedes models. It’s no secret that the firm from Hesbach is rather pre-conceived to cars of Stuttgart manufacturer. It concerns not only the mass models, but also tuned cars from the unit AMG.

Maybach 57S Tuning

Also, worth noting is that the torque has received an additional increase of 25 Nm and now amounts to 1025 Nm. Despite this refinement, the acceleration has not significantly increased. Acceleration up to 100 km / h sedan reaches for 4.9 s and top speed now is 303 km / h due to the removed limiter.

got the original wheels with sport tires on the 265/30 R20 and 325/25 R20 dimension. And the interior was skinned with cream leather and blue Alcantara.

Note that original bolide’s ceiling is 230 km / h and it speeds up to the 100km/h in less than five seconds.


The whole process of construction took four years. But
the adaptation work to the machine is not finished. Herr Mayer said he had his hands itching to do with the formula something else. For example, to solve the problem of all-weather driving. We are waiting for a removable roof!
